Hey Spoonies- I’m sorry to report this product is not up to the standards of others in the Frida line. The bottle came filled noticeably lower than it should have. Before taking any of the tonic, I poured every last drop into a measuring cup. This tonic is advertised (and priced) as 2 fl oz but my bottle was only filled to 1.5 fl oz; that’s only 75% of what I paid for. I’d love to attach a picture, but I don’t see a way to attach one here.

My husband and I also took this tonic as directed before and after myofacial release sessions. We didn’t notice a difference in how we felt when we took the tonic vs. without it.

I hesitated to write a critical review regarding a product from a business owned by Dr. Liptan. I really respect her and the work she’s done for people like me with FM. It’s just that there are so many people selling products that promise to help mitigate FM symptoms (or in this instance, “ease discomfort”) that we have to be really careful to spend our money on those that actually work. For what it’s worth, I’ve had a lot of relief from Frida Botanicals’ muscle balm. If you can only afford one product, I’d go with that and skip the bodywork tonic.

P.S. One positive: the customer service is really prompt and responsive. They initially didn’t send two products I ordered but followed up with them soon after I inquired.

Thank you for your feedback! The lowered volume of product you noticed is from evaporation of the alcohol component of the liquid over time, the amount and potency of active ingredients remain the same but in a more concentrated liquid. We have modified our packaging to reduce evaporation so this will be less of an issue going forward.

I’ve just started MFR every other week, after weekly for 8 weeks. The tonic relief was not as apparent as it seems to be lately. After 70 years of fibromyalgia I suppose my fascia is probably like cardboard, but I am hopeful. I do now notice a relief in the am within about 30 minutes.

Thank you for your feedback. The effects of the Bodywork Tonic are subtle, it is designed to help with lymphatic drainage and to help the effects of bodywork on the fascia last longer.
